there is a norm saying without any surity or security, one can avail an education loan up to 4 lakhs

I have come across this interesting incident through one of my friends and felt like sharing this with larger group of same feather here.

This guy (Rohan Kujur) has applied for education loan to complete his master degree in commerce from one of the colleges of west bengal. His appeal was denied by the local PNB bank manager, showing some orbit reason and kept a side.

Rohan applied for an RTI asking the status of his application filed on so and so date. After 30 days, he has been called by the bank manager and granted a loan without asking second question. In fact there is a norm saying without any surity or security, one can avail an education loan up to 4 lakhs. But this was never in practice in our banks. Thanks to RTI.
