This is to inform you that Center for Transforming India (a registered not for profit trust with international affiliations) is a pioneer in endeavors targeted at creating a global Indian educational sector. Its flagship program "The Central Government Employees Scholarship Program" (India's largest independent scholarship programme for school students) reaches to a massive 5.5 lakhs students studying in the major schooling system of Central Government namely The Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya( JNVs), Kendriya Vidyalaya (Central School) etc.
As its commitment for nurturing the future leaders CFTI now launches "The International Essay Competition" for the students studying in classes 3rd to 12th.
Last date of submission of entry is November 30th, 2010
As part of our efforts to constantly involve the entire NGO sector in their fund raising and awareness raising efforts we invite NGOs to partner in this unique endeavor which will increase their reach and also provide a fund raising platforms for their other activities.
Please find attached the details for the same. Kindly note there are no charges to become an implementation partner for the International Essay Writing Competition.

Important Instructions
- Every submission needs to be accompanied with the application performa.
- Online submissions of essay and application are appreciated.
- The submissions needs to be either legibly hand written in hand writing of the student or typed on computer with a font size of 12 with double spacing between the lines.
- All the pages of submissions (Essay only) needs to be sequentially numbered starting from 1.
- Mention the number of words at the end of the Essay in bold bracket ( ).
- The application format needs to be clearly filled in hand by the student/guardian/parents or typed.
- Multiple entries will automatically result in disqualification of the student from the process.
- Referencing from other texts needs to be duly given the credit otherwise it will treated as plagiarism.
- Plagiarism and cheating of any kind will automatically result is disqualification of the students from the competition.
- Students need to submit the essay on one of the topics listed above in either English or Hindi Languages only.
- Essays need to strictly adhere to word guidelines
- Entries received after last date will not be included in the competition.
- The student could either send across the entries directly to Centre for Transforming India or could deposit the same in their schools.
- Direct entries to the competition needs to be accompanied with a demand draft/ cheque/ account transfer/direct deposit amounting to Rs 85 only drawn in favour of Centre for Transforming India and payable at New Delhi

GUIDELINES FOR NGO FOR COLLECTING THE ENTRIES.
The participating NGO could collect the Essays on behalf of Centre for Transforming India. Such participating NGO will be provided with management charges which will be Rs 15 per student submission.
In such cases the NGOs needs to prepare a consolidated payment (in form of demand draft only )in name of Centre For Transforming India of the amount after deducting their management charges. The net amount in such cases will be Rs 70 per student.
