Why we should bring these items and dump here:

1.    When we through these items at Home, they go in to GHMC dustbin and finally used for land filling.

2.    Land filling with all these disposables is creating huge threat to our Earth and there by soil spoilage is happening.

3.    Our company contracted with WOW below and they will ensure that Dry Waste is recycled properly.

4.    Your Initiative and work as a responsible cittizen will save the Earth and also give some money back for further usage for go green intiatives

WEALTH OUT OF WASTE

A Joint Initiative by ITC and RAMKY

·        With increase in population waste generation increases.

·        Garbage spreads diseases.

·        Polluted air is cause of ill-health

·        Polluted water results in diseases to human beings and animals.

·        Our own surroundings annoy us if they are dirty.

·        We have the responsible to keep our home our street and our town clean and tidy.

·        About 40% of the total waste dumped as a land fill, has useful raw material for industries, which is currently going into landfill and resulting in depletion of natural resources.

·        Abuse of natural resources devastates environment.

What should we do to protect the “Environment”?

·        To reduce environmental pollution in our town and to safe guard the health of our people we must separate dry waste and wet waste.

·        Wet waste can be converted into natural manure and can generate power as well.

·        ITC & RAMKY will provide bags for storing dry recyclable waste.

·        ITC & RAMKY will ensure dry waste (paper, cartons, plastic, articles, iron & other metal) is recycled in respective industries.

·        Wet waste can be placed in the existing bins used by the house holds.

·        Dry waste (Paper, Plastic articles, Cartons, Iron or other metal articles) can be placed in the bag distributed by ITC. This should be exclusively used for dry waste.

·        Wealth out of Waste: ITC & RAMKY will pay Rs 2.00 per kg for plastic, metal & other dry waste with dry condition after accurate weighing.

·        ITC & RAMKY will pay Rs. 4 per kg for all news papers, note books, text books and office records (If given separately) with dry condition after weighing accurately.

·        As a responsible citizen by following above procedure we can keep our house, street, town and our country clean and green.
